SO WHAT HAPPENS ON YOUR YOGA WEEK?
A lot of guests contact me before arriving to ask about what we do, what we have and what we don't have at Les Passeroses. Here is what you can expect on a usual week of yoga. Some specific details may vary between teachers.
Normally you would have two yoga sessions per day, except on Wednesday - see details below. One before breakfast and one late afternoon. Your teacher will confirm the exact times for you. Some teachers also include extra workshops or meditation that are not compulsory, but may enhance your experience.
Three vegetarian meals are provided - except your evening meal on a Wednesday. After lunch on Wednesday, your group will leave Les Passeroses and visit a local town to get a feel for the area. You will usually eat together at a restaurant that we or the teacher recommend. We can cater for food intolerances and allergies, providing you have informed your teacher in advance.
All bed linen and towels are provided. The house and rooms are cleaned and bathroom towels changed on a Wednesday. You have one pool towel provided for the week that we ask you to use on the sun-loungers.
Wi-fi is available in the guest kitchen, but not all over the house. Mobile coverage can be limited inside the house, but is fine in the grounds.
Rufus and Amy live here too! They are very good-natured and well behaved cats, who will mostly stay out of your way. If you have an allergy, however, simply ensure your room door is kept closed.
We are connected to mains water which is perfectly drinkable. If you prefer, filtered water is available.
Although we are in a rural location, we are a few kilometres from two small villages where doctors, chemists and banks are all available.
There are lots of lovely walks to do and cycling is also great in the quiet countryside. We don't have any bikes of our own but recommend hiring your bikes in advance from Patrick at www.bikes4gites.com who will deliver them on your chosen day.
We can arrange transfers for you, please contact your teacher to find out more.
Any other questions are probably answered on this site - so please do browse the pages about accommodation, food, getting here etc.
